Sel-Tech manufactures products for the Aerospace Industry ranging from Airstair Systems for large aircraft to Aerial Firefighting Systems, control panels, wire harnesses, and much more. Our customers include Boeing, Lockheed, Erickson Aircrane, Neptune Aviation Services, Tronosjet Maintenance, Aerocon Engineering Company, Aero Air, Airspray Aviation Services, USFS,Heico Aerospace, RSI/CRI, and Jet Avion Corporation.

We are located in a 25,000 square foot hangar at the Chico Municipal Airport, next door to the Fixed Base Operator which offers ramp space for large aircraft. All of our machining, fabricating, welding, media blasting, painting, and assembly work is performed in designated areas throughout this facility. This location is also in a Foreign Trade Zone, which saves on duties for products exported out of the country.
Sel-Tech has been in the Aerospace Manufacturing business since 1985 and an FAA approved Repair Station since 1998. Our Founder Jerry Selken brought his extensive knowledge gained through years of working at companies such as Hughes Aircraft and Aero Union Corporation which he has passed on to the Sel-Tech Team.

In 2018, Erik Rust and Jason Teixeira acquired Sel-Tech.  Both Erik and Jason have a background in Manufacturing, earning their degrees in Manufacturing from California State University Chico.  Erik has been an employee of Sel-Tech since 2003 and became General Manager in 2006.  Jason came aboard in 2011 and has been the Production Manager ever since.  Both Erik and Jason are focused on expanding Sel-Tech’s capabilities, entering new markets, and expanding our customer base.
